About us
Trail Mixers is a women-led cycling collective building an inclusive, welcoming space for FLINTA* riders who love exploring gravel and mixed terrain. Our mission is to create a non-competitive space that cultivates a culture of curiosity, confidence, and joy in movement, with rides, skill-building sessions, and social gatherings that empower every rider to show up authentically and support one another.
*FLINTA = Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Transgender, Agender
We strive to redefine what it means to belong in cycling by mixing adventure with empathy, skill with spirit, and independence with connection.
Core values
1. Inclusivity & Belonging
We create and protect spaces where everyone who rides with us feels seen, respected, and valued—especially those who have been underrepresented in cycling. Our rides and events are built on empathy, openness, and a commitment to learning from one another.
2. Curiosity & Growth
We approach riding and community with a spirit of curiosity—about trails, skills, and each other. Whether we’re learning new techniques, exploring new routes, or reflecting on our experiences, we celebrate progress over perfection.
3. Confidence & Empowerment
We believe in building strength from the inside out. Through supportive rides, skills workshops, and shared stories, we empower riders to trust their abilities, take up space, and find joy in challenge and movement.
4. Connection & Community Care
We ride together, not apart. Trail Mixers is grounded in care—care for each other, for the trails we ride, and for the broader cycling community. We celebrate each person’s pace and prioritize mutual respect and support on and off the bike.
5. Joy & Playfulness
We keep space for laughter, adventure, and the simple pleasure of moving through the world on two wheels. Fun, friendship, and freedom are at the heart of what we do.
Our team

Ashley
Ashley rediscovered cycling just two years ago, starting with Treeline’s Ride Club after not riding since childhood. What began as a nervous re-entry quickly grew into a passion — from attending (and returning to) the No Gods No Masters United We Are gravel camp to building real community through Treeline. In 2025, she co-created the Femme Fridays series with Emily and Marie, and later developed Trail Mixers: a women-led, FLINTA-centered collective designed to create inclusive, adventurous, and community-focused spaces on and off the bike.
Marie
Marie is an energetic force in the local cycling community — a cyclocross racer with Salty Women, a co-creator of the Femme Fridays series, and a passionate explorer of all things gravel and off-road. She brings a deep love for bikepacking, route discovery, and fostering supportive spaces for riders of all levels. As a co-builder of Trail Mixers, Marie is excited to help grow a FLINTA-centered community that blends adventure, confidence-building, and connection both on and off the bike.
